    Eldon Mascoll - About Me

As the founder of and executive producer at Freedom Park Media Group (FPMG), a Toronto-based digital media company, Eldon Mascoll and his team are in the process of developing an eclectic mix of entertainment projects alongside branded content for

    corporate clients.

Eldon Mascoll’s career in media began while serving as an intern in Los Angeles at HBO Pictures in 1995. Here, his passion for developing and producing feature films and television programs truly took hold. A year later, Mascoll formed EME Inc. and through the company produced the weekly entertainment news series, Phat TV, for Canadian broadcaster CFMT Television. The production company also produced a year-end television special, "Phat TV 97”, that was syndicated nationally in the United States.

Following the success at EME, Mascoll moved to New York City where he served as a key member of the creative department at UniWorld Group and worked on multi-platform advertising campaigns for international brands like Burger King, Ford, AT&T, Target and Pepsi.

In 1999, Eldon Mascoll joined MTV Networks as an on-air promotions producer. During his tenure at the network, Mascoll helped to rebrand The Nashville Network to "The New TNN" which is now known as Spike TV. Two years later, Mascoll joined Showtime Networks as Manager of On-Air Promotions, where he led creative teams to produce themed programming blocks that were testing

grounds for branded channels. At the network, he also produced the award winning "Night Out on Sho Too”, which became the launching pad for Logo TV.

In 2003, Eldon Mascoll returned to Toronto, where he joined Astral Media (The Movie Network) and headed Programming and Acquisitions for MPIX, a premium cable channel

    dedicated to classic movies.

Two years later, he founded Crosstown Releasing, a boutique film and television distribution company which distributed ESPNs “Through The Fire”, an award-winning sports documentary that gained strong reviews and served as a precursor to the network’s “30 for 30” series.

In 2009, Mascoll won a Bessie Award, presented by the Television Bureau of Canada, for his PSA TV spot, “Gunshot”

Tapping into his entrepreneurial spirit, in 2011 Mascoll launched Games On Wheels Canada. As the largest mobile video game truck business in Canada, Games on Wheels operates corporate units in the Greater Toronto Area and also offers franchise opportunities in other

    territories.

Eldon Mascoll is a father of two boys and lives in Toronto.
